ACD - Thu 03/01/1839 - RPSGB. Horse-drawn service from Leysmill commenced 24/11/1838, to be replaced with locomotive haulage upon opening of Catherine St. station.
The exact location of Harbour station is uncertain. Various sources suggest it may have been rudimentary, not much more than a street stop. Other sources suggest an intermediate station was provided at Catherine St. Again, though no records of such a station have so far been identified, it may well be that a street stop, official or otherwise, was provided during the Harbour branch's brief passenger service.
