The exact location is uncertain. Wikipedia entry for Alloa Ferry station states that the line opened "running down the east side of Glasshouse Loan to 150 yards (140 m) short of the ferry pier", and quotes the The Alloa Advertiser 18 September 1851 p3 - "an extensive goods shed has been erected and a comically diminutive station house has been put up". This would suggest the station, such as it was, was located on N side of the level crossing over Castle St.
