These two sections of line are shown together because they were served by the same service at the time of closure, viz. 7 50 am week days Port Talbot (General) - Swansea (High St.); 5 55 pm week days Swansea (High St.) - Port Talbot (General) via Neath (General) and also closed along with the 'Swansea District Line' for local services - see Court Sart Jct. [Briton Ferry] - Morlais Jct. South, though this line continued in use for South Wales main line services avoiding Swansea.
