PNM shows section of line as Gushetfaulds Jct. - Shields Road Jct. It is easy to see why. The lines to South Side/Eglinton St. Jct./Glasgow Central divide from the Shields Jct. No.1 line at Gushetfaulds Jct. and then run parallel but with no further connection between them before parting company a few yards past Larkfield Jct. I have applied the "Line of Route" criterion here!
The mileage is from Larkfield Jct. on the Shields line which branched SW to the City of Glasgow Union line at Langside Jct. The line of route divergence was a few yards further on past the junction.
