RTS withdrawn from ?/09?/1957. RHRGB Vol.8 South and West Yorkshire p128 states "...Bradford - Thornhill services being terminated in 1957 and the last regular working being withdrawn in 1962". To date I have identified the latest entry for the Bradford - Thornhill service in B1484 5 Aug - 15 Sep 1957.
BR (NE) 12 Jun - 10 Sep 1961 Tables 21 & 30 show SO 17/06/1961 - 12/08/1961 - 8 5am Wakefield (Kirkgate) - Blackpool (Central) via Thornhill/Heckmondwike/Halifax; SO 17/06/1961 - 26/08/1961 - 9 35am Sowerby Bridge - Bridlington via Halifax/Heckmondwike/Thornhill.
Also undated Weekdays 1 30pm Blackpool (Central) - Wakefield (Kirkgate) via Halifax/Heckmondwike/Thornhill. It continued to run in BR (NE) 11 Sep 1961 - 17Jun 1962 Tables 20 & 27 as an undated Weekdays service and this would have been the "last regular working" referred to above over this section of line operating at the time of withdrawal.
On the basis of the ACD quoted and the above timetable information, LTR would have been Sat 30/12/1961.
