ACD - Mon 05/09/1966 - BLN 60 p1 & PNM p13. LTR - Sun 04/09/1966.
OCD - Fri 21/07/1967 - due to 'illegal' closure (see below) - BLN 88 p1 & PNM 1980 p13. BLN 75 p1 states proposed closure date 27/03/1967 and notes "no service since 9.5.66". The matter seems to have otherwise passed unremarked in BLN and RM.
When the closure notices for the Great Central main line were posted this section of line was omitted due, it must be assumed, to the fact that it carried only one train per week. As this rendered the closure illegal, the closure process had to be instigated to rectify the matter. See Last Trains, Loft, Biteback 2013 p242 and SLS PSUL 1966-7 p4.
