Sat 12/09/1998 - date given for closure in The Manchester & Leeds Railway The Calder Valley LIne M. Bairstow 2001 p103. This was presumably the date of LTR and ACD was complete closure to all traffic.
When was ACD or LTR for passenger services?
Rail Atlas of Britain and Ireland S. K. Baker 4th Edition 1984 p52 shows line (black) open to passenger traffic; 5th Edition 1988 onwards show (red) closed to passenger traffic, suggesting closure between 1984 and 1988.
