Closure date is LTR - Sat 23/02/1946 - PNM 1980 p86. Quoted in all publications as ACD. Service was reduced to one train per week, **11 25 aft SO Dingwall - Strathpeffer only.
As with Balerno (excl.) - Ravelrig Jct., this example highlights the anomaly of applying the 'closed on and from' principle where a service had been reduced to one train per week which, in this case, would mean the ACD would be Sat 02/03/1946. In these cases it makes more sense to quote the LTR as the closure date.
